 ‘Every Child and Young Person in the Rother Valley Matters’

The Government have made some major changes to the way that children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families are to be supported. Parents of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities should:

A new law entitled the Children and Families Act 2014 set out the new arrangements: from September 2014 every local authority is required to publish information about available services for children and young people from birth to 25 who have special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). This is known as the ‘Local Offer’.
